Peer-pressure Cliff Diving Spot
over 20 to 30- foot dive
The best time to visit this place is at 6AM. The water is calmer and it has this perfectly aquamarine color as the sun hits its surface.
Where to Find it:
The intersection in Olang, Maria, Siquijor is hard to miss as there is a Road Sign/ signage/ billboard bearing ' SALAGDOONG BEACH RESORT' on it. It isn't difficult to navigate around Siquijor as the Highway 860 is mostly a coastal road.
I prefer to call this beach as the TWIN BEACH- as the entire beach are being separated by a 50-foot hummock dividing the entire beach into two. Let's call them the Longer Beach and the Shorter Beach.
The view on the photo below is the one you will see on the right side of the hummock a.k.a. the Shorter beach. I was standing atop the hummock here. If I were to choose, I opt for this side of the beach as it is less wavy, and you''l have a clearer view of your foot when it is submerged in water.

Above photo is a peek at the Php850-room with toilet and bath and an overlooking porch.
They don't have one but two ledges as the jump off point-one being 20 feet above sea level on a high tide and the other at around 30 feet.
This shows the 20-foot high ledge/ concrete paltform.
