Bolo-bolo in Lazi, Siquijor

Have you ever been to a folk healer before?

At an intersection on your way to Cantabon Cave in Siquijor, Siquijor ( ask the locals to make sure you’ve done the turn at the right time) , make a turn and follow the road for about a kilometer until you see the signage bearing ‘Rogelio’s bolo-bolo Healer.

We trekked downhill on this bushy are using this footpath where a stick should come in handy for those with arthritic knee pain.

Look at this lush greens.

The 300-meter walk should lead you to an intersection and turn right to see a house near the vegetable and crop farm.

This is such a serene area right here.

You will then be greeted by a brightly colored facade of their home 🏠.

Notice that the box πŸ“¦ above says donation. The healers aren’t supposed to receive donations by hand as this is believed to diminish their healing powers.

We have learned that representatives from the local government office asked them to write their clients’ names in a logbook so we gladly obliged.

I was so surprised as to what emerged in the water during the seaaion.

I shall post a link of the video here the soonest! Ciao for now! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜œπŸ˜˜πŸ˜Š
