There is no place like a home away from home after an entire day of roaming around under the heat of the sun.. Check out the following resorts and home stays.
πΊππΈπ Resorts in Siquijor,SiquijorπΊππΈπ
If you believe that it is to your advantage if you can immediately return the motorcycle that you borrowed from the owner by the port to have a ' sulit' trip and you believe that you'd be running your way to get on the next ferry trip to nearby islands, then by all means, live anywhere in the towns of Larena and Siquijor.
If you also hire vehicles, it is best to hire those near the port so you wont be giving them extra service fee. State a contract as to the amount to be paid before hopping on to your cab or motorcycle. If the transaction with the owner / driver is good, then by all means, pay them more with courtesy, smile , free lunch, and of course, extra dinero. Just don't overkill.
If you want a low cliff side view, you may stay in Sunny Shine (10 minutes from the highway intersection) , Villa Marmarine, Casa Royale, and Diamond de Siquijor. The barangay roads are a bit rough but you can drive past that to a beautiful sunrise and sunset everyday . I love Norwegian's beach side though and it is part of the kilometer stretch of white beach just like in Villa Marmarine. Think about Maldives!
If you want to live in tree houses with a cold spring rooting on its source from the sea bed, then check out Guiwanon's offer.
If you want a spectacular view on an infinity pool overlooking the verdant parts of Siquijor and the azure sea, might as well go up the hills of Pili and check in Infinity heights resort.
Swiss Star (near the Highway), Das Traum near the Provincial Hospital , Sammyz, Rady's and Buhisan in the heart of Poblacion Siquijor , Isla Inn near Rainbow resortI believe do not have beach fronts but Dondeezco ( Tori' Paradise at present ) , and Blue Wave have beach fronts... magsulat sa white sand tuwing umaga!
Kamp Aninipot in Tacdog, Siquijor, Siquijor is a new one and it looks like Hobbiton of New Zealand!
Where to eat: Pinoy Carinderia Foods are available in Joel's lechon Manok; Gourmet -like foods would be from Bellview fronting Joel's ..and if you want pasta-burger-fries type of foods would be near the port I forgot its name but is just like that in Portside called Big Belly. Just take your pick.
πΊππΈπ Resorts in |San Juan ,SiquijorπΊππΈπ
If you are more of social butterfly and would want to go about the hustle and bustle of the hundreds of tourists who visit the island, then better check in at any resort in San Juan.
My personal take would be Coco Grove , Kawayan Beach Resort or Salamangka if you are the mucho dinero type.
I would really love to go back to Kawayan and do my requisite orange skirt vogue pose but I have had problems with being a walk-in visitor. I believe I have to check their website for reservation. Their giant staircase carved from a very high 100-meter (approx.) cliff , down to a hummock on aquamarine waters is ahhhhhhhhhhh-mazing!
However, you can also check out any of the resorts fronting Dagsa Restaurant in Solangon. It is around half a kilometer of white sandy stretch so you get the drill. There is Coral Cay and they got this swing from a coconut tree leaning slightly towards the beach.
It is also close to Baha Bar which hosts an eat-all you can buffet every Friday at Php 250.00 and they serve the famous lechon. After which, you can have a drink and party with friends at CZar's place for the live band. Lots of locals and tourists attend this.
U-story is my fave as it is affordable (around Php2,000.00-3,000.00 ) but its sunrise and sunset views are the best. It is thai-themed so you can do your vouge poses there. Just be quiet though as you'd kill the romantic vibe if your too noisy and most of the tourists who choose to be there aren't that very tolerant of necessary banters . Respect and courtesy is the combined key to a successful sunrise chasing. Their Sea Matador is the best for a hungry healthy belly! Or if you cant spare enough dime, just go for their cocktails for the instagrammic purpose.
Where to eat: You have Chekesh resto nearby and White food court. Trust me on these as I have frequented there and the only ones palatable for me and fair enough to get my belly happy are most pinoy carinderia foods in Chekesh and the chicken bicol express and the Yo Te Amo Pizza in White food Court almost comparable to the flavors and aroma of the pizza served in the Italian Restaurant in Sandugan , Larena Siquijor but my husband loves White food court so much more. You can also ask Juan Ernesto in Facebook regarding his review of whitefood court's menu. Baha bar and Dagsa are nice, too.

πΊππΈπ Resorts in Lazi,SiquijorπΊππΈπ
I haven't been to Lazi's beaches as it is more famous for its many waterfalls. If there is one white sandy beach there that exudes of beauty, I havent set foot on it yet. I heard from my husband that there is a lagoon in Campalanas but I am yet to check that out.

Twin ledges and twin beaches. Oh well, I have been in diapers/ lampin when I have first set foot on this age -old Salagdoong Beach Resort. It is famous for the cliff jumping activity on the 2 ledges. Its beach-side cottage rooms are affordable or cost-worthy and the rates Hotel Agripino (on the cliffs) are superb for its own right. #pangSlightlyMaarteNaMasa. Vogue worthy? It depends on your capability to pull it!
Haven't been to Buco Beach but I dont think they have a white sandy beach.
Princesa Bulakna has an infinity pool, a balete tree that would require you to pass by the man-made trail on the cliffside, and a very steep road towards the front desk. The beach has white sandy portions but unlike that of Salagdoong.
πΊππΈπRESORTS IN ENRIQUE VILLANUEVA, πΊππΈπ
There are plenty of white sandy beaches here. However, the problem here is water especially during summer months so the only resorts that survived are those with their own water source or the ones who hire people to fetch water for them.
Nevertheless, the best that I have been to is Kalachuchi Beach Resort. It is part of the kilometer-long white sandy beach going onwards to Casa de la Playa.
πΊππΈπRESORTS IN LARENAπΊππΈπ
I had my wedding held in Cliff Side. It was affordable and had a nice sunset view and a white sandy beach that you can pass by from Kalachuchi to cliff side to private beaches to Islander's paradise to Casa de la Playa and another long stretch of white sandy beach.
Perhaps the only resort in Larena ( aside from Cliff side ) that I have been to is Casa de la Playa. Looks a lot like Santo Rini , baby!
Where to eat: I have always been very fascinated with the flavors and aroma of the pizza served in the Italian Restaurant in Sandugan , Larena Siquijor

The only homestay that I have been to is Bernadith Bunado's homestay probably because it is near our place(it is my aunt's and company) , the price is good enough and the free access to a white beach near the Tulapos Marine Sanctuary is within my reach. They offer ngohiong, Siomai sa Tisa , and home made pizza.
