Of course, an essential to every travel is the transportation. You cant go on foot pragmatically here in Siquijor Island. Biking is also good but it will basically take days i guess for the entire

BEST RIDE FOR ME when touring the island: MOTORCYCLE

When driving around Siquijor, it is best to rent a motor bike so you can make a stop to wherever you want without the need to hurry because you can do whatever you want and go home whenever you want at a price of Php300 or less for 24 hours. 

I suggest that you rent bikes near the port area so you won't be tugging the hassle and burden of looking for a transportation vehicle that will take you to the port area if you are in a hurry to be on your next trip. 

I shall give you a heads up as to the rent-a-bike places near the port of Larena. 

It is better to borrow from the Tourist Police as the LTO of Siquijor is very strict and is regularly conducting checkpoints.

Better have your license ready and be sure to ask for the owner's number, just in case you will need it. 

Most parts of Coastal Highway 860 is made of cement. Other roads maybe made with asphalt but is still good to use for motorcyles.

How do I get the Liquid Gold: GASOLINE????

1. There are stores on the roadside that will sell gasoline in 1-liter bottles of Coca-cola at Php45.00 to 50+ pesos which is slightly more expensive in gasoline stations.


2. We also have  petron gasoline stations in Siquijor namely in Maria (near the church-just ask the locals) , 2 in Larena (ONE near Siquijor State College and the other one in Nonoc  300 meters away from Prosielco) yet another two is in Siquijor, Siquijor-one in  near BIT( the school) towards the road going to Bolos and another one in Pangi, Siquijor, Siquijor.
